Mmm that you only meant well..

Jason Derulo's "Whatcha Say" has been constantly replaying in my head for the past two weeks, and it just wouldn't get out no matter how hard I tried. But just as it's about to fade away, I switch on the tv. There it was, playing on MTV.

Nice.

Currently down with high fever, and the doctor gave me 5 days worth of mc, so I'll be cooped up at home for the rest of the week :( It's the first day and I miss my class already. Home is so boring, I was in bed ALL DAY, think I slept almost 20 hours!

Initially, I was quite worried about not being able to catch up with work since I'm gonna miss 1 whole week of lessons. And that I won't be able to join netball cos I'll miss the trails. But a teacher (our FT i think), and some classmates texted me and said they'll fill me in when I get back. The captain of the netball team also texted me to reassure me that skipping the trails wouldn't be a problem. So all's good now :)

Hopefully I'll be alive and kicking by wednesday! I want to go back to school so badly!

Anyway, dom asked me to visit Chung Cheng with him on friday, so I think I will. If you're reading this, and you're returning to cchms on friday as well, do tell me k! Hope to see majority of the sec4 '09 there!

Lessons started today! We had two hours worth of talks in the morning though, those emergency thingy blah blah. We were so bored, so Rachael and I spent the time playing itouch games, while Vivian played that bubble thingy on her phone and Kimberly, stoned. Haha!

We had a break before the next lesson so we had early lunch, as a class! Throughout the day, we just moved around as a class. Be it having lunch, or just hanging around the school to chat. Math lecture wasn't that bad, till they announced that there'd be a surprise quiz. The quiz got us so demoralized cos we forgot everything we learnt in Amath! And somehow all of us kept mulling over it, so we ended up spending half an hour at the Atrium trying to redo the questions LOL.

There were 3 hours to our next lesson, so all 24 of us left school for White sands and spent the next few hours there  playing Asshole Taiti. Damn fun! Joke of the day : Ngee Ping. She kena Asshole 3 times consecutively LOL. And because of that, we laughed all the way back to school.

Physics lecture was pretty boring but we pulled through. I'm trying hard to kick my sleep-in-class habits! So far so good, heh :)

Uh Oh It's Callisto!!

So we've finally come to an end of Odyssey '10! We started off as strangers on the first day, but ended as one united class on the final day. In the last 3 days, we laughed, we talked, we joked, we ran for our gold coins, we cheered for callisto 7, we learned how to work as one, and many more. But most importantly, we had tons of fun :)

1st day of Odyssey: Monday

We started off with a mass couple dance, and the couple dance beat the other "boom boom pow" and "fusion dance" hands down! It was much more exciting and engaging. I got paired up with Joseph and we were laughing throughout the dance cos we were so lost at certain parts and Timothy was so entertaining. We went around to different games stations for the rest of the day.

2nd day of Odyssey: Tuesday

We started the day with banner painting, and by the end of the banner painting session, everyone had at least one hand fully painted. After that was MMM, where we had to run around Sg to different places to complete the stations. First stop was Orchard, then to Dhoby Ghaut where we had lunch in a circle in the middle of nowhere haha. After lunch was to Senkang, Hougang, then back to school. I bet we ran more than 3km that day, and the run up the "hill" in Hougang wasn't the least pleasant at all. But it was MMM that got our spirits going, and also what that got us so bonded as a class. The people in my class aren't afraid to speak at all and they're all really fun people, so we got together really well.

Best part of the day was the ride on 89 back to MJC! The whole bus was filled to the brim with students from MJC and C7 actually cheered for the uncle while boarding the bus! HAHA cool. or. not. We also had a mini bonding session in the bus. By the time we got back to school, everyone was dead tired but we had a hell of a time! :)

3rd day of Odyssey: Wednesday

We had water games in the morning, but Kim, Vivian and I were so tired from the day before that we were so stoned the whole morning. We weren't really that keen to take part in the games and cheering, but things got better after lunch time.

After lunch, we had house rehearsals for house performance that night. Our class was given the easiest scene where we just had to sit and act like students. We were done in less than 10 mins of rehearsing, so we were the only class who got to spend the rest of the time taking pictures and playing games!

We spammed lots of pictures that afternoon, there were 4 cameras! But only 2 of them uploaded so far. Putting up a few here :)

The finale was a blast! The experience was really beyond words, so I shan't say much about it. But it was one of the best nights of my life, I swear! 

Woohoo! I love the OGMs and OGLs of C7! :D

Odyssey '10!!!!

I was digging for something among the stuff in the cupboards whch I haven't touched in a long time, and guess what I found. I actually found my PSLE certificate lying at the bottom of a box with all my past piano books. Like... Huh?? I think I used to have a problem with categorizing. Like how can my psle cert possibly end up with my piano books. Plus, it was right at the bottomest of the bottom of the box. Oh and I found my journals from p3 and 4 too!

But I haven't found what I've been looking for :( It used to be the one and only on earth, now even the only one has disappeared, and there definitely won't be another copy of it :(
